I came to Vanguard Tax Relief owing the IRS about $25,000. I was also missing some tax returns. Eric and the team at Vanguard helped me get tax return compliant by filing my missing tax returns. After that, they were able to negotiate a $500 settlement with the IRS on my behalf. I have since paid that and no longer owe the debt!

For almost 10 years now I have counted on Vanguard Tax for their unsurpassed service and tax knowledge. I found these guys back in 2005 to settle out my IRS debt. I was so impressed at their work product, but most of all impressed with the firm’s command of their tax knowledge; so much so that I have been a loyal client year in and year out for over a decade. I know I’m not a large client; however Vanguard Tax treats me with such professionalism and respect, as if I’m worth a hundred million bucks. Love their professionalism, their honesty and their integrity. Few companies left like the guys and gals at Vanguard Tax…Keep up the good work!

These guys are like magicians when it comes to accounting and tax. I called these guys up about 7 months ago, not having my taxes filed in 5 years, owing the IRS over $87,000. By the first phone call they immediately made me feel at ease. They contacted the IRS the same day; stopped all collection on me, pulled my account records (all for free mind you!), and within 3 hours gave me options based on my situation. The fees were so reasonable, the service amazing, and above all the results were magic! They settled out my IRS debt for less than $1000.

For those of you that are still asleep, WAKE-UP! Ignoring those letters, forgetting about your tax debt, pretending it will disappear one day is a fool’s sentiment! Face reality NOW! It’s not going away; in fact it’s getting worse. Compare your tax debt to a snowball rolling down a mountain, picking up speed as it grows larger and larger with each passing day. I’m speaking from experience and regret not taking care of it sooner. It took me almost 7 years to face my reality before I called Vanguard Tax Relief, and to everyone I’m telling you it was one of the greatest decisions I have made. They are straight shooters, upfront, honest, and above all the pricing was just right. I called around and they were the best.

I have so much appreciation and love for the team at Vanguard Tax. A few years back when the economy took a turn, I lost my trucking business. The banks repossessed my fleet of trucks; all my contracts that I had worked a lifetime to get were pretty much gone. What I hadn’t lost however was the countless letters that I would get from the IRS asking for the money that I owed them. I tried ignoring it for as long as I could, until one day they caught up with me by taking $1900 from my account that was set aside to pay for rent. Broke and nowhere to turn, I heard Vanguard’s ad on the radio and called. From the first conversation I had with them I immediately felt the compassion and care, their quality in listening and understanding what had happened to me and how I got to where I was, and ultimately how they were going to help me. Step by step I was kept in the loop with all the case progress and updates. Each time I would call in, I would get a hold of my case manager with exact updates and progress reports. I dealt with Eric; the case manager, Ronald; the tax-preparer and Sam; one of the managing partners of the firm. They never made me feel like just a client, but more of a friend and acquaintance. And at the end of the day they came through with absolutely more than what I could have ever hoped for and signed on for.

Talk about money left on the table! I own and operate a very successful restaurant/bar in Los Angeles and London. I’ve been with the same accounting and tax firm for years. In the back of my mind I always thought that something was wrong with the exorbitant taxes that I paid each and every year. My wife’s sister referred me to Vanguard Tax. They set up a complimentary evaluation of my situation, going back 3 years. After reviewing all my docs and financials, the managing partner got to work and within 20 days came back to us with amendments to the original returns and a refund check for $51,000 from the IRS and $28,000 from the state of CA. I have them handling every aspect of my business now; from the accounting/bookkeeping to the payroll and of course the tax! 110% recommended to everyone I know, every step of the way.

After any years of receiving collection letters from the IRS, I began to ignore them all…they would go from the mail box directly into the trash, until one morning my husband notified me that the IRS had levied a few thousand dollars that was put aside for rent. My husband had heard one of Vanguard’s commercials and took down the number. We didn’t wait another moment and called them. Within 30 minutes, they pulled my records form the IRS, did a case-evaluation and gave me options. It didn’t cost me a red-cent. By the next afternoon, Vanguard had released the funds taken from my account and started on our settlement. I stopped getting collection letters from the IRS. All the letters were routed to Vanguard, where they would take care of each correspondence and keep me updated each and every step of the way. 3 months after my initial call, I received a letter from the IRS that I definitely did not trash. It was the acceptance to our offer. The Vanguard team took my debt of $48,293 and settled it out for $500. Thank you a million times over…thank you and thank you!

Going with Vanguard Tax Relief is not only an absolute must but an absolute no-brainer. From my first call to the last one (asking a tax related question, which they’re always there for me), it’s been nothing but grade A+ service, knowledge and care towards me. I was dealing with a situation involving a very messy divorce. My ex husband owed close to 65K on his own prior to marrying me, and during our brief marriage racked up a 30K balance to the IRS, completely without my knowledge. It quickly became evident to me once the IRS began garnishing my wages at work, in an attempt to collect the entire amount. I was considering filing for bankruptcy, but when my attorney referred me to Vanguard Tax, they laid out 2 options and strategies available to me, and bankruptcy was not recommended as one of them. Instead of ruining my credit and dealing with the courts, we took the simpler route of filing for Innocent Spouse to protect me from the dents prior to our marriage, and an Offer in Compromise for the debts during our marriage. I was ready to borrow the funds and pay the IRS, but my team fought and negotiated for me, settling for $1,750. Best phone call I had ever made! Thanks a ton! Getting my life back on track would have never been possible without your dedication and support.

I served my country for over a decade in the Military. After my integration back into the civilian life, I was forced to cash in some retirement funds through my military pension until I got back on my feet and found work. The ironic part here was that the IRS was taxing and penalizing me for taking MY money out when I needed it the most. Anyway, I didn’t have the funds to repay the penalties nor the tax so I ignored them and didn’t file my returns. Few years had gone by, my adjustment because increasingly difficult back to civilian life. I couldn’t find a job, was pretty much broke…One morning I walked into the local VA office to seek assistance and met one of the senior partners from Vanguard Tax as a guest lecturer; offering free tax filing advice and assistance. I took advantage of the situation, grabbed the shopping bag of letters I had collected these past few years and made an appointment to see him. I explaining my situation to him, the difficulties in my life and all that I had been through, he then gave me one of the greatest gifts I could have received in my time of need; he offered to take on my case at no cost. A few months went by, I would receive emails and calls from Sam all the time updating me on the status of my case, until one day he called me to confirm with me that the IRS had offered to settle out my case, and that he was obligated to run the settlement by me prior to agreeing. Sam had gotten the IRS to accept $1 as the terms of my settlement. I can’t believe that there are still people left in this world like Sam; to take on my case at no cost, to care, to express compassion and deliver on his promise to me. I can stand here and say how much I thank you guys for your help, but from the time of my settlement, I was offered a job at Vanguard and now proudly work of the company! That is how appreciative I am and what a great company I work for!

For years I had filed my taxes with one of those tax preparation companies that you see on the TV every 15 minutes from January to April. My son in law had been using Vanguard Tax to file for years and swore by them. I gave them a call, set up an appointment and was immediately impressed. They reviewed the past three years of filings and found so many errors and items that were simply forgotten. We filed an amendment for all the previous years, filed the current year and within 3 months I got a refund check from the IRS for over $39,000 of taxes that I had over-paid the past 3 years. Thank you to the team at Vanguard! These guys are tax so professional and knowledgeable.

I was an independent contractor for years in the film industry. Nothing too glamorous however! Just making an honest buck and a living…For years I could not make end meet, that included my taxes. I just kept on falling further and further behind. The letters kept on coming, year after year…going to the mail box more of a dreaded task. I was offered a different position by the studio, however it salaried position. 3 months into it, I noticed that the IRS had begun to garnish my wages. Surfing the net one evening, I stumbled across Vanguard’s website and read a few of their testimonials. I figured I have nothing to lose, the consult is free. I thank my lucky stars that I gave Vanguard Tax that call. They listened to my problem, understood, after a very simple exchange of docs back and forth; by my next pay-cycle the wage garnishment was removed. Not 4 months after the initial call, my almost $51,000 was settled out for $585. Those were the toughest times in my life, if it wasn’t for the people at Vanguard I have no idea how I would have made it out of this hole I was in. Thank you so much guys.

I came to the United States from the UK in 2011 on a student visa and after graduation was offered a job in San Francisco working for a company with ties to the UK. I was heading up their London office, spending 6 months in the UK and 6 months in the US. My tax attorney at the time was filing all the necessary documents (or what I assumed was filing), until one day while on holiday my accounts were frozen with my money taken out. I contacted my bank and they informed me that the IRS had taken about $32,000 out of my account. I contacted my attorney for answers and was even more confused and frustrated after speaking to him. Without clarification, he told me that the money taken from my account were my tax payments and that I needed to pay them. Not convinced, I contacted my father that put me in touch with his accountant at Vanguard Tax. Kenneth didn’t waste a moment. On the initial call with him, placed me on a conference call with the IRS to gain authorization and expedite the matter knowing that I had no access to a printer, computer or fax while on vacation. He didn’t discuss a fee, contracts or anything of that nature, he only understood that my sole lifeline was my checking account while I was out of the county and that was frozen. To make a long story short, Kenneth was able to return all the monies held by the IRS back to my account within 14 hours. By the time I returned to the UK, we had learned that for the past 4 years all the filings that my tax attorney had filed were incorrect and did not adhere to the Foreign Bank Account Reporting guidelines. We amended all my returns, refiled and settled out with the IRS for only $1,068. I truly don’t know where to begin in thanking Kenneth, the entire Vanguard team!! You guys are amazing and I am a client for life! I have sent over many of my friends and co-workers thus far…keeping them coming.

I’ve branded June 9 officially as Vanguard Tax Relief Day! June 9, the day that I received a call from Eric, the case manager at Vanguard, letting me know that the IRS has approved my offer in compromise and that after years of unimaginable torture at their hands, I was finally done with the harassment. Without getting into how I got into tax debt in the first place; I was paid a visit by an IRS agent at my home one morning, followed by my place of work a week later. I finally woke up and sought the professional assistance of Vanguard through a radio spot that I had heard. The same day that I called, my mind was put to ease. I was tasked a team to my case, they filed a power of attorney and I never heard from that IRS agent ever again. 3-4 months later, June 9 came around, my offer was approved and now were celebrating Vanguard Tax Relief Day to commemorate the good these guys do! Great job guys and thank you over and over!!
